How To Plan A Perfect E-shoot

Firstly, I would like to congratulate you on your engagement and your upcoming wedding.

I know and understand that planning a wedding can be very overwhelming and at the same time you want all things to be perfectly planned. Bear in mind that a lot has to be done, and one could easily miss some little details that might add to the bigger picture of the wedding and you could spend a lot of money unnecessarily.

Here are some tips to keep in mind when planning your e- shoot:

  1. Find yourselves some beautiful colour coordinating and/or matching outfits. Well fitted suit for the man and elegant and chic dress for the lady. You can have more than one outfit.
  2. Use the same make-up artist that you are planning to have at your wedding. Firstly, most MUA offer make up trails in their packages, So do not kill two birds with one stone by booking your make up artist and use your trial make up for your e- shoot. You will Save and I advice you to avoid using a lot of wedding suppliers.
Please find out if the makeup artist also does hair because hair styling is another expense on its own.
  3. Use the same photographer as well. Most photographers offer an engagement shoot in their packages. Hoping and trusting that you will pick the best .
  4. Now that you have your location, MUA, hairstylist and photographer, gather all your accessories and other things that you might want for the shoot beforehand to avoid forgetting. It’s all in the details.

Keep your wedding planner posted with all the details and if you don’t have one, then you can communicate with your wedding suppliers to help with things like the location and run some ideas with you.

Kindly note that you don’t necessarily have to wear your wedding theme outfit because you can also use your pictures after the wedding.

I hope that you have learned a thing or two from this blog post and may you enjoy, and have a great, beautiful and phenomenal engagement shoot.
